BARTENDING EXPERIENCE NEEDED!MUST HAVE PRIOR BARTENDING EXPERIENCE AT UPSCALE EVENTS AND BE ABLE TO MAKE COCKTAILS OR YOU WILL BE SENT HOME WITHOUT PAY.IF YOU HAVE A BAR KIT OR WINE KEY PLEASE BRING TO SHIFT. TIPS MAY BE INCLUDED DEPENDENT ON THE EVENT.MUST BRING GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID•Greet guests, take beverage orders from event servers and directly from guests•Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in accordance with company standardsoUtilize high quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices to create sensational drinks for event guests•Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests•Rearrange furniture before, during, and after event(s)•Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standardsoKeep work area clean and organizedoOrganize Catering storage areas•Ability to strictly adhere to company uniform standards, including the ability to maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance, in accordance with policy, at all times•Mastery of and fluency in the English language – a mustoAbility to effectively communicate with team members and guests•A natural willingness and drive to exceed the guest expectations•Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisors•Ability to work independently or as part of a team during set up and execution of service•Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a continuous basisGeneral RequirementsThis position includes the opportunity to enroll in Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life, and Short-Term Disability benefits, as well as a Retirement Plan.
