TMS Technician
Description
Essential Job Responsibilities
Administer relevant treatment to patients
Operate and calibrate TMS equipment
Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatment sessions
Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment parameters as needed
Assist with appointment scheduling for relevant services
Ensure proper paperwork is completed for relevant services
Clean, sanitize, and prepare equipment for procedures and/or treatment
Stock rooms/office with relevant procedure supplies
Position may include limited invasive procedures within scope of education and training
Other duties approved by the supervisor
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma
Other Requirements
One or more years of health care experience preferred. However, certain exceptions may be made for specific tech responsibilities based on provider requests and/or needs.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
Performance Requirements
Knowledge
Standard office practices, procedures and techniques
Insurance requirements, provider referrals, and prior authorizations
Skills
Operating a computer and various software packages
Operating a variety of office equipment
Creating, organizing and keeping records
Good written and verbal communication skills
Spelling, vocabulary, math and grammar skills appropriate to the level of the position
Abilities
Develop and maintain effective working relationships
Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record
Provide effective and responsive service to clinic patients in the office setting
Equipment Operated
Specific equipment for relevant procedures and/or treatments. Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment
Position is in a well-lit clean office environment, and/or procedure room as required.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
Requirement may differ depending on the procedure and/or treatment performed. Sitting, lifting and standing as needed throughout the day.
