Senior SharePoint Administrator

Freedom Technology Solutions Group (FTSG) is seeking an experienced SharePoint Farm Engineer to support U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) in maintaining and remediating a SharePoint 2019 farm hosted within a Linux-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environment. This position is focused on SharePoint farm-level administration and server-side troubleshooting following a migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2019. The environment is experiencing degraded functionality due to broken event receivers and legacy customizations, and USCYBERCOM is seeking a senior-level engineer who can identify, repair, and stabilize the farm.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support a SharePoint 2019 farm at the server and farm levelDiagnose and fix event receivers, features, and custom solutions broken during the SharePoint 2013 → 2019 migrationPerform SharePoint farm health checks and environment scansIdentify deprecated or incompatible customizations and third-party componentsUse PowerShell extensively for farm configuration, troubleshooting, and remediationValidate service applications, web applications, timer jobs, and dependenciesSupport SharePoint running on Linux-based IaaS infrastructureEnsure farm stability, performance, and compliance with USCYBERCOM requirementsDocument findings, fixes, and recommended improvementsCollaborate with FTSG and government technical teamsRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on experience as a SharePoint Farm / Server EngineerDeep expertise with SharePoint Server 2013 and 2019Advanced SharePoint PowerShell skillsProven experience troubleshooting farm-level issues, event receivers, and custom solutionsExperience supporting SharePoint in IaaS or hybrid environmentsAbility to work independently in a secure, mission-critical environment Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community customers (USCYBERCOM preferred)Experience performing post-migration remediationFamiliarity with SharePoint security hardening and STIG complianceActive security clearance or ability to obtain one Required Qualifications: TS/SCI with PolygraphA bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.At least eight (8) years of experience with SharePoint.Extensive knowledge of LinuxAbility to work during core hours of 10AM-2PM. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.The estimated salary range for this position is between $190,000-$240,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package.
