Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance of network and systems infrastructure
Develop procedures to ensure the whole team have the skills to support the corporate infrastructure including all backend systems and VPN networks
Supports tasks associated with the design, build, implementation, and administration of the On-Premises environment
Work with IT management and/or business leaders to deliver allocated server administration tasks within defined time frames
Monitor and analyze server performance across the organization and recommend and remedy current and future performance bottlenecks
Conduct OS hardening to required security level
Support vulnerability remediation activities to server environment as per guidance of the security team and recommends implementation plans when required
Enforce IT security policies, standards & practices
Support with incident resolution activities and escalations
Excellent written / oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex technical topics related to the infrastructure environment to a variety of audiences
Document changes to the systems following company change management policy
Create and maintain complete technical documentation for relevant processes or new features to assist standardization across the organization
Collaborate with other IT staff, including networking, security, end point and collaboration tools teams, to facilitate effective issue resolution
Monitor and support license compliance and renewal activities for related server environment
Suggest and implement improvements to the environment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or related field and/or 7+ years equivalent work experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in Windows server (Server OS - 2012, 2016, 2019, 20222) and Windows 10/11 administration
Expert knowledge and experience in working with the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) /Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
Expert knowledge of Windows Active Directory infrastructure (Unclassified & Classified)
Expert Knowledge of User / Group administration in Active Directory
Expert knowledge of Windows DNS, DHCP
Direct experience with current branch MS Endpoint Management platform in a distributed environment
Expert on DoD patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation (Process and Tools)
Experience with VMware and Hyper-V hypervisor
Knowledge of Veritas Backup
Experience with various client hardware including HP and Dell laptops, desktops and associated peripherals
Experience with PowerShell
Execute proof-of-concept of various methodologies
Microsoft: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) /MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)
Security+ CE
Active Security clearance
