In this role, you'll make a lasting impact - helping create safer roads by confidently guiding students of all ages through positive, professional instruction.Hourly Pay: $24.50/hour - $26.00/hourSchedule20-25 hours/week. Weekdays: Start between 3:15pm-4:30pm, work between 4.00-5.50 hours/shift. Weekends: Minimum one day, starting as early as 7:00am for an 8-hour shift.Paid Licensing & TrainingGrowth & Advancement OpportunitiesWhat You'll DoDeliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAA's curriculum and training standardsUse our driving school software to track and manage student progressAssess student performance and provide personalized guidanceStay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentationWhat You'll BringExperience in driving instruction, education, or the automotive industryConfidence working with the public, especially teensA strong commitment to promoting safe driving habitsFlexibility to accommodate student schedules, including weekday afternoons and at least one weekend dayPhysical ability to sit for extended periods, hear and see in all weather conditions, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25lbsMust be capable of safely assuming control of the vehicle from the passenger seat during instruction or emergency situationsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordMinimum of 5 years of driving experienceMust obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license, which includes passing a DMV-required physical examMust successfully complete a background check and drug screeningOur part-time Driving Instructors are paid an hourly rate of $24.50 - $26.00.Auto Club Enterprises is the largest club within the national AAA federation.
