A strong electrical background, especially with switchgear experience, is essential. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct detailed inspections and qualification tests to ensure products meet precise engineering specifications. Inspect and test bus duct, low and medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, and other electrical equipment. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement necessary adjustments. Analyze design documents to fully grasp the project's scope and requirements. Accept or reject finished products, ensuring meticulous quality standards. Initiate NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and verify rework completion. Document inspections with comprehensive reports and logs. Work with the QA Manager, production, engineering, purchasing and vendors to ensure smooth processes. Help resolve manufacturing quality issues. Perform and verify equipment calibration to maintain accuracy. Contribute to the development of ISO-compliant procedures and quality systems. Update drawings and other technical documentation as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete any additional duties assigned by your supervisor and management. As a Quality Control Technician, you'll play a vital role in achieving ROARK's goals, delivering exceptional products to ROARK's clients, and maintaining our team's strong sense of collaboration. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in quality control a plus. Electrical testing certification preferred. 2+ years of quality control experience in electrical equipment manufacturing OR 2+ years of electrical equipment assembly. Strong understanding of NEC, ESR, ANSI/IEEE, UL, and CA Title 24, State Seal process. Excellent math skills, including Ohm's law calculations. Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications. Proficiency with measuring devices, including reading a measuring tape to 1/16” increments. Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office. Ability to solve problems and think critically in standardized situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to the highest standards. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
