Hotel Front Desk Mission Statement"To provide guest with an exceptional hotel experience by providing a pleasant check in, within a timely manner, while accommodating any special requests to meet all of their traveling needs.Starting Hourly Rate $17.00hr.  Hotel Front Desk Clerk duties and responsibilitiesHotel Front Desk Clerks provide the guest with an exceptional and accommodating hotel experience. Hotel Front Desk Clerks have the following responsibilities:Check in guests & provide them with directions to their roomInform guests of all on-site amenities and any relevant information that is needed to use themAnswering phones professionally Create reservations over the phone and in personHandle and resolve guest complaintsInvoice and bill guests for their stay and services usedCommunicate with guests to better understand their individual needs to provide them with the best service possibleFrom time to time, performs Administrative & clerical work as requested.Hotel Front Desk Clerk skills and qualificationsA successful Hotel Front Desk Clerk will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications, including:Minimum of High School diplomaBasic knowledge of computers. - use computers to check in guests, create invoices and manage online bookingsCustomer service skillsStrong verbal and nonverbal communication skillsSuperior listening skillsFront desk experience recommended RequirementsStanding for long periods of timeFlexible working hours -schedule (8A-4P; 4P-12A; 12A-8A; and in between shifts when needed)Working Holidays and Weekends Bilingual is a plus
