Prometric serves as an industry gatekeeper, ensuring that people legitimately earn the credentials they seek to achieve, and thereby guaranteeing a fair testing experience for all who come through our doors.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide evaluation of Candidate Skills based on training provided by PrometricBuild working relationships with test site locations and ensure location readiness prior to exam datesProactively communicate site location issues that interfere with exam administrationsProctoring a computerized knowledge-based examination, and Objective observation and scoring of candidates demonstrating clinical skills.Provide Test Event Delivery & SecurityPrepare for test events by monitoring rosters & ensuring the site is correctly set up and cleaned upControl test area by maintaining a working knowledge of Prometric policies and practicesGreet examinees and verify identificationMonitor candidates as they complete their written exam and/or direct a proctor to administer the written exam, if applicableManage testing environment to ensure candidate flowObserve and rate candidates as they complete their practical examResolve candidate issues or report them to the appropriate supervisorProtect exam content through administering computer-based testingPossess technical proficiency to reboot workstations, and reset passwords as necessaryEnsure the delivery of a seamless candidate testing experienceReport any occurrences which fall outside company guidelines to the appropriate supervisorTraveling/On-Call (As-Needed) ResponsibilitiesServe as an as-needed/on-call resource and may be contacted to support specific testing events based on business needs.This role does not guarantee a minimum number of hours or events; schedules may vary week to week.Communicate availability in advance and respond to scheduling outreach within required timeframes.Travel to assigned event sites (which may be outside the primary city/metro area) and arrive prepared to administer and evaluate exams in accordance with Prometric standards.Accept or decline event assignments based on availability; once accepted, commit to the full scheduled event hours.Maintain all required licensure, training, and compliance to remain eligible for assignment.Must be able to support short‐notice travel, including assignments with less than 24 hours' notice, based on business needs.Travel may be required outside of the employee's state of residence and airport proximity is preferred for large metro areas.Remote areas within state are needed for short-notice driving assignments.May be required to obtain and maintain licensure in additional states to support assigned events. Examinations are performed mainly Monday through Friday with some Saturday and occasional Sunday examinations.Perform other duties as needed and assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEDUCATIONRegistered Nurses with active and unrestricted license in the state of operationBA/BS Degree preferred but not requiredOne (1) year of experience in long term care or experience caring for the chronically ill of any ageIdeal candidate may possess staff development and/or training experience, preferred.SKILLSIntermediate to advanced technical skills and solid familiarity with computer programs and applications (including but not limited to MS Office, Outlook, Explorer-web browsing)Strong communication skills (oral and written)Access to personal computer equipment (i.e., personal computer/laptop, printer, etc.)Must have a valid Driver's License and vehicle to travel to test eventsStrong problem solving/trouble shooting skillsMust be proactive, flexible, amicable and able to solve problems independently.PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTSAbility to travel 30 miles or more one way from zip codeAbility to stand for extended periods of time while administering the exam and evaluating candidates (up to as much as 8 hours per event)Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (testing mannequin)
