Job DescriptionMedical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (Generalist) - Full-Time or Part-TimeWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team. This is a Generalist position responsible for performing routine and complex laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available.The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple laboratory disciplines and maintain a commitment to quality, accuracy, and excellent patient care.Key Responsibilities:Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing according to established policies and proceduresWork across multiple laboratory departments including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Microbiology as assignedAnalyze and interpret laboratory results while ensuring accuracy and timely reportingOperate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipmentPerform quality control procedures and ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulationsDocument and maintain accurate laboratory records and patient resultsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding laboratory findingsFollow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocolsParticipate in process improvement and departmental initiatives as needed Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related fieldASCP certification or AMT certification requiredCertification examples may include MLS (ASCP), MT (ASCP), MLT (ASCP), MLS (AMT), or MLT (AMT)Previous experience as a laboratory generalist preferredStrong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, procedures, and quality practicesExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Schedule & Benefits:Full-time and Part-time opportunities availableDay, evening, night, and rotating schedules may be available depending on department needsCompetitive compensation based on experienceComprehensive benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and continuing education assistance For more information please send your resume directly to elizabeth@ka-recruiting.com or call/text me at 617-746-2747.Additional Information*NEW - To learn more please feel free to text us about this job!! *IF INTERESTED - Please click APPLY ONLINE or email us a copy of your resume directly (my email is next to my profile).
