Account Representative, Strategic Accounts
DescriptionTo better serve our internal and external customer base, Nilfisk is seeking an Account Representative to assist our Strategic Account team with the sales development and management of “working” accounts and support of existing “buying” accounts.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Account Representative's primary goal is to support sales development and improve customer experience by creating more efficient workflows from new customer acquisition through to post-sale support. The position will support the Strategic Accounts team by developing and engaging a pre-defined list of strategic account “working” targets to increase sales revenue. They will also help to support Key Strategic Accounts with day-to-day sales administration that may include quote proposals, order troubleshooting, and/or act as a liaison to the Customer Care department. It is a virtual position, however, some time in Brooklyn Park, MN or Morgantown, PA may be required for training and team meetings.Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Key Account Start-UpsCoordination of customer requirements (working with customer and sales)Collaboration w/ Expeditor of shipping requirementsCollaboration w/ Install SME of install requirements.Communication with the customerRegularly scheduled startup meetings to discuss upcoming needs, potential requirements, etc., with CS Supervisors & Expeditor w/ optional invitation to Manager & DirectorAccount Development – Working AccountsPerform research and discovery on target accounts, in line with Nilfisk Sales ProcessIdentify key contactsDetermine and execute regular call cadence, in line with marketing-approved campaignsRecord all notes and next steps in SFDC Account Management – Working AccountsAct as primary point of contact for accountConduct strategic business reviews with customer to explore additional revenue opportunitiesProvide quote proposals and/or complete RFPsCollaborate with field sellers (RMs) as necessary to support site visits, demo needs, etc.Record all notes and next steps in SFDC Partner with account to ensure all contracts are updatedCustomer SupportCheck inventory status for open opportunities and expected Purchase OrdersProvide order tracking to customersAdministrativeGenerate all customer quotesHand off overflow of administrative items to team members as necessaryMinimum RequirementsEDUCATION:Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferredEXPERIENCE:KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsStrong strategic planning skillsTeam player, able to interact with all functional areas and all organizational levelsSelf-starter, highly motivatedOpen to feedback and coachingMust exemplify and embrace Nilfisk Behaviors including:Act as One Team with One AgendaUnderstand Our Customers’ businessAct and Expect Forgiveness – don’t wait for permissionTry, Learn & Disrupt – The perfect plan doesn’t existDeliver on your PromiseCOMPUTER SKILLS:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Capability to quickly learn new software and systemsProficient in SFDC, Concur and able to run and evaluate iCube reports (or similar systems with the ability to learn quickly)TRAVEL: Expected annual travel at 5%Let’s create a cleaner future togetherCleaning has emerged as a key contributor to health and safety, sparked by technology and innovation.
