We are TÜV SÜD Group.Your TasksPerform inspections of boilers and pressure vessels to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirementsWitness pressure tests in accordance with jurisdictional requirementsConduct inspections at field and shop locations in line with ASME and National Board CodesDocument and report inspection results, including nonconforming conditions, following regulatory and company standardsCarry out Loss Control inspections and other assigned inspections in compliance with internal policiesManage assigned inspection activities to meet governing codes, jurisdictional requirements, and company proceduresSupport engineering evaluations and recommend solutions for non-compliant conditions in collaboration with internal teams and customersYour Qualifications Valid National Board or Jurisdictional CommissionRelevant ASME or National Board Code endorsements, as requiredEducational background in a relevant field, such as:High school diploma with technical training or apprenticeship (e.g., boilermaker, pipefitter, steamfitter)Power Engineering certification or equivalent technical programMilitary or merchant marine training in boilers, pressure vessels, or related systemsCertifications such as CWI, API-510, or API-570 are advantageousAssociate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, science, or mathematics is a plusAt least one year of experience in the pressure equipment industry (e.g., inspection, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering review, or NDE)Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and inspection processesAbility to communicate technical findings clearly in both written and verbal formatsStrong organizational skills with the ability to plan work and meet deadlinesCollaborative mindset and ability to work independently when neededWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly compensation of $60/hr. - $80/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and internal equityComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with employer matchPaid parental leaveGenerous paid time off and company holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and technical development within a global organizationAdditional InformationThis is a field-based role that requires travel to customer locationsThis is a part-time role working at least 30 hours a week and is benefit eligiblePhysical requirements include climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, walking long distances, and standing for extended periodsYou don’t meet every single requirement?
