Actively recruiting for a part- or full-time position in the Division of General Pediatrics: a pediatrician to focus on well newborn nursery care.Candidates must be BE/BC pediatric physicians interested in a long-term focus on newborn nursery medicine and education.Clinical responsibilities will include the care of infants in two actively growing newborn nursery units.Faculty duties include education, oversight and instruction of pediatric resident and medical students. . Leadership and research opportunities in newborn medicine education, breastfeeding, and advocacy are available. Rounding, clinical care and call is shared among the newborn nursery physicians, with on-site neonatology backup at both sites.?Additional opportunities exist for clinical, research and education duties in pediatric hospital medicine or community-based primary care ambulatory clinics if desired.
