DescriptionDiscover your exciting roleThe Service Engineer is a key position in the Facility Services (FAS) team and is based at a customer facility located in Boise, ID. The Service Engineer is responsible for accepting, maintaining & optimizing equipment throughout it's entire lifespan. This includes, but is not limited too, equipment installation, commissioning, acceptance, start-up and then into sustaining operations, retrofits and ultimately decommissioning and demobilization. The Service Engineer will collaborate with equipment OEM, internal operations teams and key client stakeholders to ensure safety, accurate operations of the equipment.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesCompliance with customer Equipment Acceptance & Lifecycle protocol and achieving signoff with customer EH&S department and tool ownerTechnical SOP development and training towards Exentec operations team & client (where required)Setpoint and other controller variable management (e.g., alarm setpoints, conditions, delays, and responses) and processing of Management of Change requests, as applicableSystem fault-finding, resolution, and evaluation of learnings for cross system implementationSystem optimization and recommendation / implementation of improvement and upgrading projectsParticipate in troubleshooting baseline reliability issues, and continually work to improve system uptimeAdhere to the company's safety regulations as well as the customer's site regulations and follow all the guidelinesSystem 'Finger printing' to ensure all critical setpoints are checked and maintainedRetrofit and modifications projectsSoftware upload / download / backupI/O interface wiring, testing & verificationComponent 2nd sourcing strategyInput to maintenance planning and executionRed lining of P&ID, Specification, and proceduresJob Hazard Analysis preparation and verificationBest practice sharing and implementationOther duties as assignedShow your expertiseQualifications:Trade school qualification, associate degree, or higherIdeally at least 3 years experience in the Semiconductor industry, or an equivalent role in a relatable industrySpecific Skills & Knowledge:Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Plumbing / Gas / Chemicals / Facility ManagementUse of basic hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipmentAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to use Microsoft programs such as Word and ExcelAbility to MultitaskApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Non-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
