Commercial Insurance Account Executive/Manager
PRIMARY PURPOSE:We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Insurance Account Executive/Program Manager to manage the submission process, support underwriting, oversee member onboarding, and coordinate governance activities for our captive insurance programs. This role is central to maintaining strong broker, underwriter, and member relationships while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism across all program functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep insurance industry expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across sales, marketing, underwriting, and operations.Please only apply to this opportunity if you have Large Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance Experience. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 7 years of experience in property & casualty insurance, with significant brokerage experience in placing new business.The preferred candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in business or risk management and/or approximately five years of prior insurance industry experience. Superior analytical abilities including computer knowledge/skills, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM tools and Insurance systems).Ability to consistently meet deadlines, deliver public presentations, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.Willingness to travel as needed for board meetings, conferences, and client events, including potential international trips.A valid Property and Casualty License would be a bonus-preferably with Texas as the home state.CORE COMPETENCIES:Prepare proformas with underwriting pricing for delivery to the sales team.Assist with the coordination of Risk Control visits for prospective members and the development of reports, and related billing.Support carrier submissions for captive renewals.Submission & Underwriting Support.Manage onboarding of new members – including introduction to respective departments, the facilitating of the receipt of share capital, shareholder materials, and due diligence info.Serve as a support contact for broker, member, and internal inquiries throughout the policy term.Organize bi-annual board and shareholder meetings, including venue selection, agenda development, registration, and hotel coordination.Prepare meeting materials, take minutes, and distribute follow-up documentation for board, shareholder, and quarterly committee meetings.Develop annual reports for captive members, from concept through design.Create external-facing brochures and marketing materials to support program growth.Review broker and sales submissions for accuracy and completeness, coordinating with brokers as needed.Track all submissions and manage the full lifecycle of prospects.Facilitate weekly prospect meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Underwriting.Please note that the above description does not encompass all duties and responsibilities associated with this position.We offer full benefits and a competitive compensation package.
