The Pathlight team comprises experienced leaders who have successfully scaled companies such as Plaid, Robinhood, Ramp, and Alloy from $0 to $100M+ in revenue, offering deep expertise to the next generation of entrepreneurs. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Talent Lead. The Talent Lead will identify, attract, and recruit top talent for Pathlight Ventures’ portfolio companies, while collaborating closely with startup founders and internal teams to develop customized recruiting strategies. The role involves managing full-cycle recruitment processes, building talent pipelines, and employing innovative sourcing methods to identify high-potential candidates. As a pivotal team member, the Talent Lead will also contribute to employer branding initiatives and provide ongoing support to portfolio companies to enhance their talent acquisition strategies.QualificationsProven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR, particularly in startup environments or high-growth companiesStrong expertise in sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation, and building talent pipelinesExcellent interpersonal skills, relationship-building, and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsUnderstanding of industry trends in key thematic areasExceptional communication and organizational skills, with attention to detailExperience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platformsPassion for helping startups grow and a commitment to fostering inclusive hiring practices
