Radiology - CT Tech

CT Tech Job Type: Travel Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years nursing experience License: Pending license acceptable with submission, must be in hand prior to start Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: 2 years of experience in the field Description: The CT Tech will work a night shift schedule, specifically Wednesday through Friday. Call is required, approximately 2 shifts per month. The patient ratio will be 1:3. Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, is preferred. Candidates must have experience performing a variety of CT and XR exams. Key skills include 3D rendering techniques, abdominal imaging, and acute care procedures. Candidates are expected to administer contrast media and follow radiation safety protocols. They should be experienced in performing CT scans of the head, chest, pelvis, and other areas. Experience with pediatric and geriatric patient care is important. Interdisciplinary support will be available from respiratory services and phlebotomy. Candidates should be familiar with special procedures associated with CT imaging. Travel experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to start as required.
