Safety Manager - Heavy Civil / Site Development
Job DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Safety Manager in the Columbus area to oversee safety programs, field compliance, and training for heavy civil, earthwork, utilities, and site development projects.ResponsibilitiesImplement and enforce company safety policiesConduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigationsLead safety orientations and ongoing trainingMaintain OSHA compliance and required documentationSupport project teams with hazard analysis and site-specific safety plansPromote a strong safety culture across all field operationsQualifications5+ years safety management in construction (heavy civil/sitework preferred)Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industry best practicesExperience with field inspections, reporting, and trainingExcellent communication and leadership skillsRelevant safety certifications (OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or similar) preferredWhy Join UsStable contractor with consistent work volumeCompetitive pay and benefitsStrong team environment and long-term advancement opportunitiesIf you are interested in this Safety Manager role in the Columbus area please apply!
