Procurement Manager

A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead supplier strategy, logistics, and material flow across North America.In this role, you will oversee vendor relationships, sourcing, and end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure scalable growth while maintaining cost efficiency and high quality standards.You’ll partner closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to align sourcing strategies with product development and deployment timelines. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Management & Strategic SourcingDevelop and manage a network of suppliers and service providersLead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and commercial termsSource hardware components and engineering services aligned with product needsCollaborate with vendors to meet technical specifications, quality, and performance standardsLogistics & OperationsOversee inbound logistics into the Boston area and outbound distribution across North AmericaOptimize freight, warehousing, and delivery for cost, speed, and reliabilityManage shipping processes, documentation, and third-party logistics partnersInventory & Operations ManagementOwn inventory planning, including spare parts and replenishment strategiesMaintain efficient and organized shop and storage operationsCost & BOM ManagementManage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drive cost optimization initiativesPartner with engineering to balance cost, quality, and performance in sourcing decisionsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering teams to interpret drawings and technical requirementsSupport product builds, deployments, and operational scaling initiativesQualificationsExperience & EducationBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations (hardware/manufacturing preferred)Proven track record of vendor negotiation and supplier managementStrong experience with North American logistics and shipping operationsFamiliarity with inventory management and BOM processesAbility to interpret technical drawings and understand hardware systemsExperience working in a high-growth or startup environment is highly desirableSkillsStrong negotiation and supplier relationship management expertiseHighly organized with strong attention to inventory and operational detailTechnically minded with a practical understanding of hardware systemsAnalytical approach with a focus on cost optimizationClear communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionallyHands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $105,000 – $140,000+ (dependent on experience and location)Benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision coverage (including dependents)401(k) with 100% company match20 days paid time offParental leavePaid sick leaveWellness or gym stipendLearning & development supportEquity and/or performance-based bonus
