Job Title: ApplinX Web Developer Job Code: MS 166066 Client: State of Mississippi – MDHS Location: Jackson, MS – 100% Onsite Duration: 3+ Years Rate: Based on Experience Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hrs/week Work Location: 3771 Eastwood Dr, Jackson, MS 39211 Closing Date: October 1, 2026 @ 2:00 PM Position Overview The State of Mississippi – MDHS is seeking an experienced ApplinX Web Developer to maintain and support ApplinX web development modernization implemented across the JAWS and MAVERICS legacy applications. The consultant will collaborate with MDHS staff to incorporate, test, and implement changes, provide knowledge transfer, and support ApplinX servers, Designer seats, applications, web applications, and NATAPX hosts. Required Skills 7+ years of Java experience. Hands-on experience developing and maintaining ApplinX solutions. 5+ years of ApplinX 11.1 experience. Experience with ApplinX version 11 or later. Experience gathering and formulating business requirements with customers. Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Strong programming experience in Java or Microsoft .NET. Experience with JSP and web services. Experience with SOAP/REST and service-oriented architecture. Experience with Linux RHEL 8.10. Experience with Adabas. Strong analytical skills and ability to develop well-performing websites. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Experience with QA testing. Preferred Skills SQL Server Jira Software Agile SCL Key Responsibilities Maintain and support ApplinX web development modernization for JAWS and MAVERICS legacy applications. Develop and maintain ApplinX applications and web applications. Support ApplinX servers, Designer seats, applications, and NATAPX hosts. Implement limited enhancements as required. Collaborate with MDHS staff to gather and define business requirements. Incorporate, test, and implement application changes. Perform QA testing and troubleshooting. Follow ApplinX and web development best practices. Provide knowledge transfer to MDHS staff. Support application performance, integration, and modernization activities. Important Notes 100% onsite in Jackson, MS is required. Fingerprint screening/background check required. There is currently an incumbent due to a contract extension; however, the agency is required to interview additional candidates and consider all qualified submissions.
