Mechanical Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Type: Full-time direct hire Job Location: West Hazleton, PA (Onsite) Salary: Depends on Experience Work Authorisation: US Citizen/GC Expected start date is as soon as possible. Candidates will have to pass a technical aptitude test focused on mechanical and electrical experience. Ideal candidate will have a well rounded background in industrial maintenance coming out of a manufacturing environment (preferably high speed manufacturing) and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience. What You Will Be Doing Support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a goal of continually reducing unscheduled downtime. Make required repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted Collaborate across all groups/departments What We Need From You Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to use all power tools, hand tools, drill presses, shop tools, etc Ability to read and interpret documents in English Ability to work from drawings, schematics, sketches and through verbal communication.
