Bring Boeing aircraft to life with precision finishes At Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in North Charleston, SC, our Decorative Paint Team transforms engineered airframes into striking, customer-ready airplanes. As an Aerospace Exterior Finishing Technician, you'll prepare surfaces, execute complex layouts, and apply coatings and markings that meet exacting standards—all on site at Boeing South Carolina.A day in this role Tackle exterior prep on airframe sections—cleaning, sanding, and conditioning surfaces for optimal adhesion.Create and position patterns, perform precise layout, and mask to spec for livery elements and stencils.Mix and apply primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes to meet Boeing process requirements.Apply external markings and graphics across aircraft sections to blueprint and customer requirements.Where you'll work This is a 100% on-site position at Boeing South Carolina in North Charleston.Shift Variable shift (shift 4). Your shift will be assigned at hire based on business needs and remains in effect until re-evaluated.What you'll bring Ability to work a variable shift.1+ years of painting experience (aircraft, automotive, industrial, or general painting).Comfort using fall protection and wearing safety gear and masks.Preferred 1+ years of related experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience.Hands-on aircraft paint experience.Skills that set you up for success BlendingIndustrial & Commercial PaintingTeam standards Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Compliance This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
