Role: SAP HRMS Functional ConsultantLocation: Los Angeles CA( hybrid 3 day onsite ) Role SummaryThe SAP HRMS Functional Consultant is responsible for supporting and optimizing Human Capital Management (HCM) processes, including payroll, time management, personnel administration, and organizational management within SAP. This role ensures seamless HR operations, compliance, reporting, and system enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesCore HR Functional SupportManage and support:Organizational Management (OM)Personnel Administration (PA)Personnel Development (PD)Position ControlTraining & Events ManagementSupport HR programs such as:Employee Relations, EEO, Grievances, DisciplineWorkplace safety, return-to-work, accommodationsTuition reimbursement and travel managementPayroll & Time ManagementAdminister payroll processing and integrationsManage time entry and approval processes (LD-Time or equivalent)Handle payroll posting, allocations, and error resolutionMonitor and resolve payroll/time data discrepanciesSystem Operations & SupportProvide daily production support and resolve ticketsExecute batch jobs and system transactions (e.g., error monitoring, data corrections)Maintain HR master data and organizational structuresSupport month-end and year-end closing activitiesReporting & AnalyticsGenerate HR, payroll, and compliance reportsSupport audit requests (OSHA, worker’s compensation, financial reporting)Develop dashboards using tools like SAP Fiori, Personas, and Power BIPerform data analysis and troubleshootingConfiguration & EnhancementsParticipate in system configuration and testing (UT/UAT)Gather business requirements and implement enhancementsMaintain system documentation and training materialsTraining & Stakeholder SupportConduct end-user training sessionsProvide functional guidance to HR, Finance, and other departmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolutionPeriodic ResponsibilitiesDaily: Ticket resolution, reporting, system monitoringWeekly: Payroll validation, error checksMonthly: Reporting, data updates, dashboard refreshQuarterly/Annual: Compliance reporting, audits, payroll calendar setupRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or related field5+ years of SAP HCM/HRMS experienceStrong expertise in:PayrollTime ManagementOrganizational ManagementExperience with SAP Fiori, Personas, and reporting toolsKnowledge of HR compliance and labor regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
