Interim Employment Counsel

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent’s corporate client has an immediate need for an Interim Employment Counsel Overview: Employment Attorney to serve as primary point of contact for day to day employment mattersCompany: REIT that operates and invests in Data CentersExperience: 8+ years of employment law experienceLocation: DFW Preferred / Remote Responsibilities Include:Provide day-to-day counseling on employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, discipline, and terminationsDraft, review, and update employment policies, procedures, and internal guidancePartner closely with HR to ensure consistent and practical application of policies and processesServe as a first-line legal resource, handling matters directly and escalating to outside counsel as neededHelp organize and streamline internal workflows, processes, and team coordinationBalance a high volume of HR-driven work with legal risk assessment and business-focused advice Qualifications Include:8+ years of employment law experience (in-house strongly preferred)Demonstrated ability to operate independently and handle high-volume, first-touch employment mattersStrong judgment and responsiveness; able to be a reliable, go-to resource for internal clientsExperience partnering closely with HR teams in a fast-paced environmentTexas bar or proximity to Dallas is a plus, but not requiredPay Rate: $100-$110/hr+Information regarding benefits can be found on MLA’s Website on the Consultant Resources Page: https://www.mlaglobal.com/en/consultant-resources All interested and qualified candidates should apply directly with Major, Lindsey & Africa for review and consideration.
