The assistant coach will play a role in ensuring the safe travel of student-athletes to and from games and competitions and maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship and teamwork.Essential DutiesAssist the head coach in the organization of the overall program.Assist in the supervision of student- athletes during daily practices and at games.Prepares players both physically and mentally for interscholastic competition through practice, teaching fundamental skills, and knowledge of rules.Assists in the cleaning, storage, and proper care of all team equipment.Additional Information:Minimum Stipend Amount: $2,054.73 Annual /SeasonStipend amount will be prorated based on actual start date if the assignment has already begun.Applicants selected for interviews will be contacted by the school.Henrico County Schools reserves the right to begin screening applications and make a selection at any time during the posting period.
