Electrical Operations Director - Commercial/Data Center Construction - Reno, NVWe are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Operations Director to lead and oversee electrical construction operations across commercial and data center projects in the Reno, NV region. This role is responsible for managing field operations, ensuring project execution excellence, driving safety and quality standards, and supporting business growth.The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep electrical construction expertise, and a proven track record delivering complex, large-scale projects—particularly within mission-critical or data center environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day electrical construction operations across multiple commercial and data center projectsLead, mentor, and develop project managers, superintendents, and field teamsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsDrive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety policiesCollaborate with preconstruction teams on estimating, scheduling, and project planningMonitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actionsMaintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and key stakeholdersOptimize labor productivity, resource allocation, and operational efficiencySupport business development efforts, including client meetings and proposal inputEnsure adherence to all electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirementsQualifications8–15+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or operations roleStrong experience in commercial and/or data center (mission-critical) construction projectsProven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneouslyDeep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry best practicesExcellent leadership, communication, and team-building skillsStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlExperience with project management software and construction technologiesJourneyman or Master Electrician license preferred (not required but a plus)Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredIf this role is of interest please reach out to kieran.hitchen@gryphonoakwood.com for a confidential call or apply directly via the link above.
