Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and night shift availability.Job Details• Located in the NICU of a 595-bed comprehensive hospital, within a Women's Medical Center housing a Level III NICU,• 32-bed unit caring for neonatal patients,• Patient ratio of 3:1,• Charting via Cerner EMR,• 13-week contract,• Night shift: 3x12, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM,• Every other weekend required,• No on-call requirements,• Floating within scope of practice is required, including to facilities within a 25-mile radius if needed,Job Requirements• Active AL or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration,• Current BLS and NRP certifications required (AHA accepted only; American Red Cross certifications are not accepted),• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,Additional Information• The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited hospital that holds Advanced Certification in Perinatal Care,• Navy blue scrubs required,• Only natural nails are permitted - gel, acrylic, or embellished nails are not allowed,
