You'll work with modern machinery in a clean, safety-focused environment and collaborate with a skilled team dedicated to excellence.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Manufacturing Grinding Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Operate one or more types of grinding and cutting equipment.Remove excess metal and surface imperfections from sand castings.Eliminate fins, burrs, parting lines, flashing, gates, and risers.Ensure finished parts meet customer specifications.Maintain required quality standards and consistency in productionManufacturing Grinding Technician Qualifications:Previous experience in grinding, metal finishing, or manufacturing preferred.Ability to operate grinding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.Basic understanding of casting processes and metal removal techniques.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or specifications.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPEWork in a hot environment.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
