Junior Network Administrator

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Provide day-to-day operational support for a secure, real-time wide-area-network (WAN).• Monitor infrastructure operations and performance, identify potential problems, and resolve network incidents.• Integrate infrastructure from high-level design plans through acquisition and installation.• Troubleshoot network systems, coordinate improvements, and manage vendor interactions for hardware and services.• Support network equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.• Assist with documentation, presentations, and utility program development for infrastructure monitoring.What You'll Need• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of prior relevant experience.• Active DoD Secret clearance.• Demonstrable skills in network LAN/WAN/VLAN design and implementation.• Experience with TCP/IP based services, IPSec protocols, and IP addressing/routing.• Proficiency in firewall configuration and security policies.• Experience with Cisco network router and switch configuration and management.• Familiarity with network and server monitoring tools and scripting for automation.• Security+ CE, Network+ CE, and/or CCNA certifications are required.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($59,150 - $106,925) plus potential for bonuses.• Comprehensive health and wellness programs.• Income protection and paid leave benefits.• Retirement savings plans.Apply via Haystack today!
