With a commitment to our vision that strong relationships drive strong results and better business, our people make Cooper Machinery Services legendary.Job Overview:As an Operations Coordinator I, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to business leaders and various departments within the organization. Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations by efficiently managing administrative tasks and addressing the needs of internal stakeholders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Independently manage assigned administrative duties, proactively supporting internal customers and balancing the needs of multiple staff members.Provide administrative assistance to teams or individuals within the office and service departments.Generate and invoice machine shop job orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Communicate with customers' AP department to facilitate cash collections.Coordinate various purchases and arrange AP invoice processing for both the shop and office.Serve as a liaison with vendors for vendor setup and resolution of vendor payment issues.Utilize SAP for job creation and invoicing purposes.Handle shipping and receiving tasks as required.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:High school diploma/GED equivalent required.Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred.Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in Administration and Support roles.Proficiency in general office management and current computer/office communications technologies, with expertise in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP.Ability to lift at least 40 pounds, physically capable of performing labor such as storing items on shelves or picking up parts from vendors.Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.Competencies:Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.Capability to work independently while also being a team player.Strong problem-solving skills.Cooper Machinery Services is an equal opportunity employer and gives all qualified applicants consideration of employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, any other characteristic protected by law.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
