Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Highland Park, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,873 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (varies) Experience: 1 year required License: Valid license required Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, RDCS, ARDMS RDCS AE, CCI RCS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with 3-D Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Adult Acute Care, and Pediatric Acute Care. Candidates must be willing to float between multiple locations. Candidates must pass an EKG test on the first attempt with at least 84%. Description: The Echo Tech position involves performing echocardiograms in various settings. Shifts are 8 hours long and may vary, starting between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Rotating weekends will occur every 4th to 6th weekend, with possible Saturday or Sunday in between. Floating to different locations may be required based on patient needs and staffing availability. On-call duties are expected, which may include weekends and extended hours. Candidates must have experience in adult and pediatric echocardiography. Specific skills required include 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, and various Doppler techniques. Technical knowledge of imaging with contrast agents and conducting pharmacologic stress echo is preferred. Successful candidates will work with interdisciplinary team members and utilize interpretation services. Experience with charting is preferred, especially with EPIC systems.
