Production Technician The Production Technician is responsible for operating production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. This role involves adhering to safety and quality standards while meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will have technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production machinery to ensure proper functioning.Follow production schedules and ensure output meets quality standards.Conduct inspections and quality checks on finished products.Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and compliance regulations.Document production data, machine performance, and any incidents.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.Understands the principles of Lean Manufacturing.Other duties as assigned.Core RequirementsAbility to operate production equipment.Ensure products meet specifications and identifying defects.Adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.Understanding basic mechanical/electrical systems.Ensuring accuracy in production tasks, documentation, and inspections.Prioritizing tasks to meet production goals and deadlines.Working effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.Conveying technical information and following work instructions accurately.Ability to read and understand production drawings and work instructions is required.Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout the day.Lifting amounts up to 50 pounds is required.Meets vision requirements specified by quality management system.Desireable Skills and ExperienceGED or High School Diploma is preferred but not required.Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or technical production role is a plus.Basic mechanical or electrical skills.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, or work instructions.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.Willing to work shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
