Company Overview: Futureguard Building Products Inc. is a dynamic and rapidly growing national manufacturer specializing in awnings and sunscreen room systems. We provide products under multiple brand labels, including Summerspace, NuImage Outdoors and GuardRite. Our production facility includes powder coating, CNC milling, sewing, roll-forming, glass cutting and tempering, and product assembly. Our sales force operates regionally to serve our nationwide dealer network. Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Processing & Panel Assembly Technician to join our Glass and Panels Department. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the preparation, assembly, and quality inspection of glass and aluminum panels used in our manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: Operate equipment and machinery to construct panels according to plans. Assemble and fit panels into frames or structures with precision. Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to safety and product standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols. Qualifications: Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields preferred. Experience with powered hand tools (drills, saws, drill press, punch press). Proficient in reading tape measures and understanding units of measurement. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including work orders. Thrive in a high-volume environment ensuring timely, accurate deliveries to the shipping department. Safely lift 75 – 100 pounds consistently. Ability to stand for the whole shift. Able to pass a successful background investigation and physical exam.
