role is to safely convert chemical raw materials into finished goods according to ICT company standards and client specifications.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Strive for excellence in all work by focusing on continuous improvement, consistent work practices, and working with other co-workers for the betterment of the company while doing everything well with minimal errors or defects to ensure customer satisfaction and quality standardsReceive and review production schedule from Production Supervisor at the start of shiftReview production Batch Sheets and SOPs prior to beginning each batchPull samples from vessels and sample port for lab analysisEnsure equipment is clean and prepared to operateVerify reactor integrity and cleanlinessReport any issues with equipment in a timely mannerVerify inventory levels to ensure there is adequate inventory available to produce batchStage raw materials according to specificationsProduce BatchesActively monitor batch process via computer monitor and manually when applicable (controls, temperature, pressure, vacuum, gages) address and report any deviations or concerns in a timely mannerVisually inspect equipment and notify maintenance department and supervisor of issues that require attentionUpon each batch completion ensure the equipment is clean and ready to be used for next batching processEnsure Batch Sheets are completed properly, by recording raw material name and lot number(s) used, temperatures, pressures, vacuum involved in processing material, time for each processing step, time for QC approval, batch yield (pounds produced, and packaging), volume of waste generated and review for accuracy and qualityDocument and report any batch issues and/or concerns in a timely mannerStage packaging, package, label, and place on appropriate pallets, load finished product into trucksAssist in the training of new hires when applicableMaintain process area and general work area organized, clean and free of safety hazards.Follow company policies and safety guidelines at all times, including the use of PPEReport any safety hazards and/or concerns in a timely mannerCross-train when assigned and if not assigned, when time permits and approval is receivedMaintain a good team-working relationship with supervisor and co-workersMaintain updated and accurate knowledge of procedures, programs, processes and follow as writtenComplete all on-line and classroom training assigned in a timely mannerAll other duties as assigned based on the needs of the businessQualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS:HS/GEDMinimum of 6 months to 1 year experience working in a production manufacturing environmentMust have the ability to understand and apply safe handling procedures of all materials used in a production area, and ability to understand SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and batch sheetsMust have the ability to apply general understanding to carry out written and verbal instructionsMust have basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple screens effectivelyBasic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and compute ratio, rate, and percentagesMust be able to handle pressure and think clearly in all situationsMust be organized and able to multitask effectivelyMust be able to communicate clearly and conciselyMust have initiative and the ability to work in a team-environmentMust have the ability to see closely and at distances, have good depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to see color clearlyPREFERRED:Chemical or Chemistry experience a plusForklift operation experiencedEXTERNAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Occasional interaction when visitors and clients are touring facilityINTERNAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Regular interaction with other departments, including but not limited to QA, Maintenance, R&D, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Supply Chain, and HRPHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USE:Occasional standing, sitting,
