Sr Sustainability Manager

Title: Sr Sustainability Manager Location: Seattle, WA (4 days a week on site) Duration: 06 months assignment (possible extension)Overview:Leads Global Channel Development sustainability strategy by turning evolving regulatory context along with enterprise and partnership commitments into clear plans. With partnerships shapes global roadmaps, mobilizes cross-functional teams, and drives high-impact priority workstreams, including critical regulatory projects, to ensure compliance, license to operate, and advance clients public and partnership commitments.Technology requirements: Microsoft Office Suite (specifically excel, GHG emission reductions)Smartsheet’sAbility to use Enterprise level toolingDegree or certifications required:BA in Sustainability (or similar) or equivalent experienceMasters preferredYears experience:7+ years of experience leading sustainability, managing regulations, or complex strategy programs, ideally within CPG, retail, or supply chain environmentsRequired background:Experience working across cross-functional teams (e.g., Sustainability, Legal, Supply Chain, Brand, packaging engineering) to deliver programs and projectsStrong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track milestones, and navigate ambiguityUnderstanding of sustainability topics and changing regulatory landscape (e.g., packaging, EPR, environmental claims), with ability to translate into business actionsExperience supporting or managing external partnerships or multi-stakeholder initiativesStrong communication skills, with the ability to create clarity, influence partners, and effectively share updates and recommendationsAbility to analyze information, connect the dots across teams, and contribute to practical, data-driven solutionsAbility to grow international partnershipsAligns with Clients cultureAttention to detailStrong communicationAbility to lead projects, some project management backgroundNice-to-Haves:Certifications: life cycle (LCA) Supply chain decarbonization, packaging innovationExpert in excel, analyst backgroundHas lead projects from start to endApplicant Notices & DisclaimersFor information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location-specific applicant notices, click hereAt SPECTRAFORCE, we are committed to maintaining a workplace that ensures fair compensation and wage transparency in adherence with all applicable state and local laws.
