We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Lead enterprise data architecture for a hybrid cloud data mesh platform supporting real-time air traffic management and next-generation aviation services.• Define the data mesh architecture, including domain boundaries and data products.• Establish the enterprise data governance framework and standards.• Design real-time streaming data pipelines for operational data and architect event-driven data integration patterns.• Develop the data integration strategy across legacy and modern systems, and plan for legacy data migration.• Champion an AI-first engineering culture by identifying and applying AI-assisted development capabilities.What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant data architecture experience, or 10+ years with a Master's degree or equivalent experience.• Proven enterprise data architecture leadership for large-scale platforms.• Hands-on experience with data mesh architecture design and implementation.• Expertise in event streaming (e.g., Apache Kafka) at scale and real-time data pipeline design.• Proficiency across SQL and NoSQL database technologies, and distributed data systems architecture.• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary of $131,300 - $237,350.• Opportunity to work on mission-critical systems impacting national infrastructure.• Contribute to projects that impact millions of air travelers.• A culture that embraces AI and modern development practices.Apply via Haystack today!
