In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you'll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep the a Database Engineer - Mid Level, you will be required to:Contribute to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutionsInnovate RF signal processing applicationsProvide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysisDevelop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading softwareProject long-range requirements for database administration and designDevelop a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controlsDevelop requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular business and Information Technology (IT) subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems)Assist with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance effortsTranslate a set of requirements and data into a usable document by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; updates existing queries, creates new ones to manipulate data into a master file; and builds complex systems using queries, tables, Open Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologiesBasic Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph ClearanceFamiliarity with relational and non-relational databases to include but not limited to Oracle, Postgres, Mongo and Redis. Experience with SQL and the associated tools (SQL Developer, etc…)Experience developing long and short-term requirements for database administration and designDesired Skills:Experience with ElasticsearchPay Information:Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
