Fountain Attendant

Position Summary: Provides friendly and efficient customer service to guests according to established Marketplace policies and service standards. Job Title: Fountain Attendant Department: Food & Beverage Reports to: Asst. Shift Manager Marketplace FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt License Type: Non-Gaming Target Pay: Start $24.39 One Year - $27.10 Essential Job Functions Engages in friendly conversation with customers in line Help all guests regardless of where they are seated and brings food to guests when available to do so Works in assigned area, taking drink orders, presenting drinks to customers, clearing tables, and serving food Fills the customer's order in a friendly, prompt, and accurate manner and helps them by suggesting popular items and up selling items to purchase Checks identification to ensure customers are using players cards issued to them and no one else Operates cash register following established cash handling procedures Performs other duties, prepping and preparing food orders, working with production staff to make food for the restaurant Prepares specialty coffee/smoothies at specialty outlet Maintains a clean and organized workstation Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines Cleans and stocks food prep areas, dining area and workstations Performs all duties as assigned Qualifications Six Months or more of customer service experience (food and beverage industry preferred) 18 Years of age or older Must be alcohol and food handler certified Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English Ability to perform basic math Ability to understand the concept of cash handling, making change and counting it back to customers Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing Requires the use of cash registers, calculators, and credit card machines Ability to communicate with Team members and guests Ability to be a TEAM player Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays Working Conditions Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk Must occasionally lift and lift to 25 pounds Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor Exposure to high noise level
