Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP)Location: Pasadena, MDJob Type: Full-TimeShift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (40 hours/week)Setting: Inpatient FacilityJob SummarySeeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP) to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safe medical withdrawal management and continuity of care in an inpatient setting.Roles And ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the clinical team to manage patient care, including withdrawal managementAdminister medications and oversee ongoing medication managementSchedule and manage medications within the EMAR system with accuracy and timelinessPerform history & physical exams and comprehensive medical evaluationsOrder and interpret lab work, and treat patients based on findingsAssess patient eligibility and appropriateness for admissionsPrescribe medications as clinically indicated, including for withdrawal managementRespond promptly to patient medical concernsCoordinate and recommend external medical referrals when necessaryMaintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring HIPAA complianceContribute to medical policy development and process improvementsBuild and maintain collaborative relationships with patients and interdisciplinary teamsParticipate in on-call phone coverage as requiredQualifications, Licensure, ExperienceActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (FNP or AGNP)DEA and CDS licenses requiredCurrent state licensureMinimum 2+ years of experience as a Nurse PractitionerPreferred experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or related settingsFamiliarity with Kipu EMR/EMAR is a plusBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insurancePaid time off
