Assembly Technician
Treske Precision Machining, a leader in precision manufacturing with a focus on aerospace and defense contracts, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technician. We are hiring for all shifts, including weekday, weekend, nights and swing. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling complex components with precision and accuracy to ensure high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
M-F 9:30-5pm
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Perform assembly operations on precision machined parts and components following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble products accurately.
Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before final approval.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Document assembly processes and complete required paperwork accurately and promptly.
Assist in the continuous improvement of assembly processes and contribute to a culture of quality and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Desired Skills and Experience
Practical experience in installation of fasteners such as keen-serts (keyed inserts) and helicoils
Capable of handling a fast paced environment in addition to having a strong sense of urgency.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 or more hours a day.
Attentive to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Good with computers in a business environment.
Job Conditions/Physical Requirements
Work performed in factory settings.
Exposure to manufacturing environment such as noise, dust and the outdoors.
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, negotiate a flight of stairs and move about facilities.
Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
