Position OverviewSalary range: $73,107- $82,284Temporary Lecturer to teach a section of DES 144 during the Spring 2026 quarter.Course description: DES 144 – Thematic survey of interior architecture with emphasis on dwellings in cultural settings, modern interior design theories, and their relationship to building exteriors, sites, and uses. The course offers a 10-week overview of the history of interior architecture and design, with lecture, film, discussion breakout activities, and occasional on-campus architectural visits.Learning objectives: students consider interior spaces holistically, analyze furnishings and design principles in context, and develop projects that integrate historic precedents with contemporary design challenges.Applicants must have professional experience in a design field related to the curriculum.Application WindowOpen date: March 13, 2026Next review date: Saturday, Mar 28, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
