ALBANY, NEW YORK (USA). Our organization is currently looking for a seventh board-certified pathologist in AP/CP with fellowship training in Hematopathology to enhance our growing Division of Hematopathology.Clinical Responsibilities Include:Sign-out of hematopathology cases (bone marrow, tissue, blood/CSF on a rotating schedule)Participation in shared hematopathology on-call dutiesA secondary area of expertise is preferred but not mandatoryAcademic Responsibilities Include:Conducting one-on-one and group sign-outs with hematopathology fellows, residents, medical students, and visiting observersDelivering didactic lectures, leading unknown slide conferences, and supervising resident presentations such as journal clubs, gross conferences, and grand roundsEngagement in translational research is encouraged and supportedOur department prioritizes a collaborative work environment that promotes mutual growth through rewarding mentorship opportunities.
