Realness Project Operations Manager
Who we are:
Realness Project’s mission is to foster Safer Communities for All by empowering human connection in the prison system. We deliver powerful, interactive workshops to communities of men and women in prison, building healthy human connection, inspiring empathy, kindness, and trust. Our work breaks down generational cycles of violence, addiction, and incarceration, positively impacting trauma, addiction and mental health in our communities.
Position Overview:
As our first Operations Manager you will join a fun, energized, intimate, and creative team committed to expanding human connection in our prison system and transitioning it out into the world. Your jam is to have full creative license to perceive gaps in the organizational functioning of Realness Project, create projects to fill that gap and take it from start to finish. This is an individual contributor position with a lot of opportunity to grow within the organization.
*This is a three-quarter time position.

You love to manage systems, people, projects, and events and are the executive director’s right hand person. You are a go-getter, trendsetter, and co-creator. You love this work.
What you will do:
Offer robust administrative support around all things operational for the organization
Manage day-to-day organizational operations from program and fundraising events to donor management and various HR responsibilities
Identify grant opportunities and manage grant application process
Maximize use of donor management system (Bloomerang)
Support executive director with decision making and creative ideas
Collaborate with RP team members as needed in support of programs
Enjoy stepping up to handle ever-evolving organizational needs and changes
What’s Required:
Previous experience working in organizational management of nonprofits or corporations
Demonstrated ability to be a team member as well as an independent self-starter
Strong technical skills as it applies to various online tools and software systems
Prior training in Authentic Relating a plus (or desire to get trained upon hiring)

Experience with Google Drive: Docs, Forms, Sheets etc.
Experience using Bloomerang and/or FundraiseUp to manage donations
Experience with event planning: QR codes etc
Experience with Colorado Gives Day and Giving Tuesday

The job of the Operations Manager is restricted to the inner workings/backend of Realness Project. Please do NOT apply if you are hoping to go into prisons for programming. Should the opportunity arise to attend in-prison events, this is a perk and not part of the job description.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
