You will work directly with traders, technologists, and operations teams across the New York financial ecosystem to ensure they get the most out of Lucera’s network, eTrading, and market data solutions.This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with 1–3 years of sell‑side fixed income experience who want to transition into a high‑impact fintech role while staying close to market structure, trading workflows, and cutting‑edge technology.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Technical Advisory & Relationship ManagementAct as the primary technical contact for NYC‑based trading and technology clients.Build deep relationships with front‑office fixed income desks, eTrading teams, and infrastructure partners.Lead onsite or virtual technical reviews, workflow assessments, and optimization sessions.eTrading Integration & SupportSupport onboarding to Lucera’s low‑latency network, trading gateways, and execution services.Troubleshoot connectivity, pricing workflows, order routing, latency concerns, and configuration issues.Advise clients on RFQ, streaming, and CLOB execution models based on New York market structure.Market Data IntegrationAssist clients in integrating real‑time and reference data feeds using Lucera’s market data APIs and tools.Diagnose and resolve feed delivery, normalization, entitlements, or distribution issues.Advise on best practices for scaling low‑latency data needs across the NY trading environment.STP (Straight‑Through Processing) SupportAssist with post‑trade workflow integration including allocations, confirmations, enrichment, and reconciliation.Resolve breaks resulting from mapping, formatting, or counterparty workflow discrepancies.Ensure seamless STP pipelines with OMS/EMS, risk, and back‑office systems.Issue Ownership & ResolutionOwn critical issues end‑to‑end, coordinating with Engineering, SRE, and Product.Provide clear communication, root‑cause insights, and resolution timelines.Proactively identify stability risks and improvement opportunities for NYC clients.Internal Collaboration & Product AdvocacyRepresent customer needs internally to influence Lucera’s roadmap.Support Sales and Solutions Engineering in pre‑sales conversations with New York prospects.Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing.Required Qualifications1–3 years of sell‑side fixed income experience, ideally in trading, sales, eTrading, or market‑making.Strong understanding of fixed income products, market microstructure, and execution dynamics.Familiarity with FIX protocol, market data feeds, API integrations, and electronic trading infrastructure.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with front‑office and technology teams.Ability to troubleshoot data flows, platform integrations, and connectivity issues.Preferred QualificationsExperience with FIX, FAST, JSON/XML data formats.Knowledge of OMS/EMS systems and post‑trade workflows.Exposure to low‑latency networks, cloud‑based infrastructure, or colocation environments.Comfort with SQL, Python, or basic scripting (read/debug capability).Understanding of regulatory requirements such as TRACE and best execution.Why Join Lucera in NYCWork at the heart of the financial markets, partnering with major banks and trading firms.Direct exposure to high‑performance trading systems and critical market infrastructure.Hybrid environment with strong in‑office collaboration in New York.Opportunity to grow into senior technical leadership, solutions engineering, or product strategy roles.
