Lead Audio Engineer

About the job Job Overview This is a full time position for a Lead Audio Engineer who will oversee daily ADR and VO recording sessions M-F 9-5. They will run all sessions and coordinate with the directors and post-production team. *Looking to fill this role ASAP* Responsibilities Engineer in person and remote recording sessions for ADR/VO Process audio to meet quality standards for Television Series, Video Games, Audiobooks, Commercials, Music, and more Work with Directors, Producers, and Sound Supervisors on ensuring their project’s needs are met efficiently and on time Stay current on industry video and audio broadcast standards Manage studio equipment and oversee routine maintenance Troubleshoot and correct reported issues with assets Set up and tear down for recording sessions Run Pro-Tools/VoiceQ/SessionlinkPro/Source Connect sessions in sync with each other Work with talent to ensure their needs are met during the recording sessions Skill Preferences Pro Tools Source Connect Pro/Source Nexus SessionlinkPro VoiceQ RX UAD Console Mac OS Microphone placement and general equipment knowledge Understanding of Post-Production workflows Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure Ability to work independently Demonstrate the ability to focus on details ensuring an error-free deliverable Benefits $30/hr (contractor) Studio Access during off hours Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Tarzana, CA 91356: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
