Speech Language Pathologists support early learners by assessing communication needs, delivering therapy, and collaborating with educators to ensure students can meaningfully participate in their school environment. This role plays a key part in building foundational speech and language skills for PreK students.Position Details: Start Date:3/23/26 End Date:5/25/26 Schedule:M–F, school hours, 35 hours/week Grade Levels:PreKResponsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for PreK students to determine service needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals Provide direct therapy services in individual or small?group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required compliance records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development Utilize evidence?based practices to support communication, articulation, language, and social?pragmatic skills Assist with early intervention strategies and classroom communication supportsQualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Connecticut SLP license and/or appropriate school certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Previous experience working with early childhood or school?based populations preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skillsWhat We Offer: Competitive pay and benefits package.
