DescriptionThe Producer is an integral part of the creative team that is accountable for bringing the creative vision to life in production form for photography, illustration, video, digital, and other content. The Producer is responsible for managing the production budget and overseeing all operations and logistics for a video or photo shoot from pre-production to post-production. The Producer acts as the liaison between the creative team (Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, agency producers, and directors) and the production crew (location scouts, makeup artists, and sound editors, for example). The Producer is heavily involved during the development and pre-production phases of a project, but their job is not done until the project is completely wrapped and sent for distribution. They must have a keen creative eye, be an innovative thinker and be business savvy to ensure all production meets quality expectations in a timely and efficient manner.Responsibilities include:Managing the entire production process of low- to high-level projects, from pre-production to post-production, to execute the creation of photo and video assets, video edits, color correction, sound design, and retouching for concepts created by the Creative teams.Working with creative teams from concept through delivery of final creative content to oversee and execute all aspects of production and delivery.Ensuring all aspects of production are on brand.Procuring and managing external production partners including directors, production companies, editors, producers, music companies, and audio recording studios to execute creative concepts.Creating a shooting schedule including the number of shoot days, locations, talent, and crew.Aligning production schedule to the campaign schedule created by the Project Management Office (PMO) and Executive Producer (EP) and managing multiple teams to stay on schedule through complex production processes.Estimating costs per project including location, talent, crew, food, and post production (editing, music, color correction, and sound) and ensuring the budget aligns with the established Creative production budget.Securing studio time or locations for shoots, working with Studio Coordinator or external location scouts. Managing supplier relationships for productions, including procurement and process management.
