Must exhibit proficiency in, and routinely perform, a wide variety of building maintenance and mechanical work including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior painting, masonry, drywall repair, small appliance and minor equipment repair and troubleshooting.

Ensure all company, state, local or federal health, safety, health, building, fire and insurance codes or requirements are met or exceeded at all times. Perform the appropriate floor covering cleaning (i.e. shampooing, buffing, stripping, waxing, etc.

Duties: Diagnose, repair and maintain buildings and equipment - a food facility and administrative building Maintain and repair lift equipment - pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts Maintain and repair production equipment Work orders include, but not limited to mechanical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical Welding skills and experience preferred, but not required Operate the ice plant.

Complete ownership of the schedule and subcontractor management, progress reviews with the owner, billing percentage reviews with the owner, coordinating with the site safety and quality control managers, site access for subcontractors, daily reports, building and maintaining the project schedule, RFIs, inspections, hazard identification, review plans and specifications, compliance, and other duties as necessary.

Expected to promptly notify management of spills and emergency situations, need for major and minor building/facility repairs, lights that are out or broken, broken equipment and fixtures, damaged structures, ruptured pipes/plumbing, problems with heating/cooling and ventilation and any other observable safety issues/concerns.

Perform basic building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, minor low voltage electrical work and repairing broken items. If the task is complex and requires a certified technician to complete the repair, the District Operations Coordinator (DOC) will be notified.

Perform daily standard work and perform complex operations successfully, read and interpret process sheets, gage, Deburr and clean parts, make minor offset changes (if required), frequently utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specification(s), change set ups and document information on check sheets, keep dimensional data on run charts.

I. Current employment and permanent civil service status with Jefferson Parish and at least one year of general building or grounds maintenance experience, to include experience/training (as verified by an appointing authority) in at least one (1) of the following trades: painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or heating/air-conditioning.

AMF. Our family of brands features the best in bowling entertainment and events at 300 striking locations nationwide. Quickly and safely correct issues such as pin jams, ball return calls, and other malfunctions that occur during guest play.

Occasionally performs minor building maintenance and grounds maintenance tasks. May occasionally perform minor maintenance tasks such as reset circuit breakers, turn off water in emergencies, replace light bulbs and fluorescent or perform basic facility maintenance functions such as painting and minor carpentry repairs.

Repairs include but are not limited to restaurant and commercial cooking equipment, ice/beverage equipment, refrigeration equipment, building control systems, exhaust and fresh air systems, drive-thru audio systems, HVAC systems, minor electrical systems and circuits, minor plumbing systems including hot water heaters, and minor building repairs.

Duties involve a combination of sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, or other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
