- WERACE curriculum writers collaboratively work with other certified adult education teachers to create and formalize curriculum that is utilized in the English as a second language (ESL) program, the credit diploma high school completion program (CDP), the General Education Development (GED) program, and citizenship preparation program.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaboratively work with WERACE leadership team members and GED teachers to develop and formalize GED curriculum that aligns with the College and Career Readiness Standards as utilized by adult education providers in Connecticut.
- Meet with curriculum team members as scheduled; Submit curriculum drafts to program facilitator and division director for feedback and final approval.
- QUALIFICATIONS: Current #107 teaching certification Previous experience working with adult learners in a GED program NUMBER OF POSITIONS: Two (2) positions, with one in English/Social Studies and one in Math/Science COMPENSATION: This is a part-time non-union position.
- Stipend for this position is $3,000.
