- craftsman who is responsible positioning, aligning, fitting, welding, installing, erecting, dismantling, bolting and/or repairing steel structures and other similar sub-assemblies for all phases of the steel construction processes of a project from start to completion, whether it is a part, sub-structure and/or a complete building structure or project.
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, or grind component parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product.
- back to the Structural Steel Foreman.
- Examine finished product or work and verify against specifications and drawings for compliance and quality; be the first level of quality control in steel fabrication
- It is the sole responsibility of the Welder/Level II (W/L2) to perform the tasks assigned by the Structural Steel Foreman or Structural Steel Manager.
