- Other tasks include overseeing and managing the preparation of construction documents plans, specifications, construction cost estimating and various studies and reports for roadway, highway, rail, utility, site development and water resources projects including, but not limited to, design projects for commercial, educational, industrial, and governmental/public agencies.
- mentoring civil engineering staff in the design and delivery of interdisciplinary projects, document preparation and production for design/bid/build and permitting, managing sub-consultants, and project budgets, schedules, and quality control
- providing final design and oversight of roadway, highway, and rail alignments, cross sections and details, grading, drainage (hydraulics and hydrology) and utility, traffic signal and control plans and other highway infrastructure and site work
- preparing Hydrology and Hydraulic Reports and providing civil design expertise using software to include but not limited to HEC-RA, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydro-CAD and Storm-CAD.
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in watershed modelling, culvert analysis site, transportation, highway and roadway design, or closely related consulting engineering field work.
